The Photography Business Is Not Dead Yet

Are you a member of any online photography forums or pro photographer groups? If so then you might want to check out some of the ongoing (and quite active) discussions happening out there about the general state of the photo business. I will bet that you’ll discover some hot topics in there about the notion that “the photography industry is becoming extinct” or that every hard-working professional photographer is doomed to failure.

Are you in fear of how you and your photography studio can evolve to cater to the changing market’s wants and needs?

You’re not alone – a lot of other photographers are quite worried that their clients will stop paying the fees they need to charge, or that other self-proclaimed professional photographers are too keen to provide their services for ridiculously low prices, with the risk of then putting you out of business.

The question is, what do you think? Is the photography industry becoming less attractive as a viable business?
